Founded in 2016 by James Ooi, Little Bao Boy started in a home kitchen and quickly grew into a recognised name on the UK street food scene. In 2020, James was joined by JB to help scale the business, taking it from one small site to multiple locations. Today, you’ll find us at our HQ in Leeds, and on rotation at major food destinations like Shelter Hall in Brighton and Box Hall City at Liverpool Street, London.

Since lockdown, we've continued to grow. Our Beef Bao became the most ordered item in Leeds, beating high street chains like Five Guys. We also launched delivery-only dark kitchens through a collaboration with Sessions, bringing our bao buns and street food, to even more people across the UK.
